Group structure

The Gasum Group consists of the parent company Gasum Oy and its subsidiaries Gasum Paikallisjakelu Oy, Gasum Energiapalvelut Oy, Gasum Tekniikka Oy, Gaasienergia AS, Gas Exchange Ltd and Helsingin Kaupunkikaasu Oy.

Gasum Oy
is responsible for ensuring sufficient access to natural gas in Finland. Gasum acquires natural gas from Russian supplier Gazprom and acts as a wholesaler to large customers. Gasum also takes care of capacity of transmission network equipment and the filling stations for natural gas vehicles. Length of th transmission pipeline in Finland is 1,190 km. Gasum Oy is developing biogas production with its partners.

Gasum Paikallisjakelu Oy
is responsible for maintenance and developing of distribution network of Gasum Group. The company has a total of 510 km of distribution pipelines in eight areas around Finland. 

Gasum Energiapalvelut Oy
sells natural gas to small and medium-sized enterprises and households and supplies the equipment and services needed by natural gas users. There are some 30,000 households in the inner city of Helsinki alone who cook their food on a gas stove. Gasum Energiapalvelut Oy provides a range of heating solutions for houses as well as larger residential areas. The companyt also designs and constructs distribution networks.

Gasum Tekniikka Oy
is responsible for  business installation and maintenance works of Gasum Group.

Gaasienergia AS
sells natural gas to small and medium-sized enterprises and households in the Tallinn area.

Gas Exchange Ltd
has taken the gas market online and introduced new flexibility in the market. Trading on the Gas Exchange takes place in both natural gas and emission quotas.

Helsingin Kaupunkikaasu Oy
owns the natural gas network in Helsinki.

Gasum is developing the production of biogas and its distribution via the natural gas network in cooperation with Biovakka Suomi Oy.
