The network of filling stations is expanding

At the moment there are 16 CNG filling stations in Finland, all of them located in southeastern and southern Finland in the area covered by the natural gas network. Gasum owns 14 of the stations and new ones are constructed every year. Natural gas retailers included in Gasum's clientele are also interested in building filling stations in their distribution areas.

In the future more and more CNG filling stations can also be constructed outside the natural gas network. Gas for vehcle use can be produced at local biogas plants or natural gas can be transported by truck in liquefied form (LNG). At the moment there is one biogas filling station operating outside the natural gas pipeline network in Laukaa (Metener Ltd).
