Gasum Group Interim Report
1 January to 30 June 2008

- Net sales €573.7 million (€420.4 million, 1 January to 30 June 2007)
- Operating profit €26.2 million (€47.7 million) 
- Natural gas sales 23.0 TWh (21.9 TWh)
- Investments €24.5 million (€12.1 million). The construction of the new pipeline between Mäntsälä and Siuntio was delayed because the Supreme Administrative Court cancelled the expropriation permit granted by the Government for the project on 3 July.
- Gasum expects natural gas sales for the entire year to increase slightly from last year’s levels.
- Gasum is currently assessing the impacts of the decisions made by the Energy Market Authority (EMA) on 9 May and the measures required by it.
- Gasum expects that the Group’s operating profit and result for 2008 will be clearly below 2007 levels and also below the long-term average.
