Gasum promotes environmental friendliness
Low in emissions, odourless and economical, compressed natural gas (CNG) is an excellent choice as a vehicle fuel. There are 16 filling stations in the area covered by the Finnish natural gas network, and the number is increasing every year.
Gasum’s stations sell only CNG. Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is not sold on our stations.
Natural gas vehicles (NGVs) run on two fuels
In Finland the bifuel option is available for various car makes and models. Please contact the importers and retailers for more information: VV-Auto Oy, Veho Group, General Motors Finalnd. All natural gas-fuelled cars imported to Finland are bifuel vehicles. This means they have two filler openings − one for petrol and one for gas. With many models the driver can press a button to select petrol. If the vehicle runs out of gas, the engine automatically switches over to petrol. Driving an NGV is not in any way different from driving a vehicle using another fuel, such as petrol. You will notice the biggest difference when paying less for fuel at a filling station.
GasCard
Currently, to fill up at a Gasum station you need a specific GasCard payment card. Ordering a card is simple with this link. The GasCard is free and works the same way as other fuel cards
