The plant was built during 2013 and is a co-digestion plant for the digestion of mostly manure and agricultural residues in the neighborhood. The biogas produced is upgraded to vehicle gas quality in a water scrubbing facility and transmitted via the gas pipeline to nearby customers.

The biofertilizer is returned to farmers, who are also partners.
