This holiday season, we are supporting children and families through Save the Children

As Christmas approaches, we want to remember those children and families who are living amidst the climate crisis and facing its consequences daily. Extreme weather events, air pollution, food shortages and water scarcity threaten the lives of millions of children and the livelihoods of their families. Children are in the most vulnerable position during crises – their schooling is interrupted, livelihoods are weakened, and the risk of being subjected to violence or child marriage increases.

For this reason, we have decided to donate the funds we would have spent on holiday gifts to Save the Children. With this donation, we support their work in areas affected by the impacts of the climate crisis, such as East Africa and Asia. Save the Children helps children and families survive by distributing cash assistance, supporting communities in preparing for crises, and providing education that strengthens resilience to the effects of climate change.

At Gasum, responsibility is at the core of everything we do. Together with our partners, we are building a cleaner future, so that children too have the opportunity for a safe and good life. Collaboration with Save the Children is an important part of this work for us.
