Gasum biogas plants in Nordics

We are one of the biggest producers of biogas in the Nordic countries. Our biogas plants in Finland and Sweden provide services related to biodegradable waste processing, biogas production and production and distribution of recycled fertilizers.

Gasum’s objective is to actively develop the Nordic gas ecosystem. The company has many biogas plants projects ongoing, for example in Götene in Sweden.

On 6 February, the European Commission published a detailed impact assessment on possible pathways to reach the agreed goal of making the EU climate neutral by 2050. Based on this impact assessment, the Commission recommends a 90% net greenhouse gas emissions reduction by 2040 compared to 1990 levels.
