Gasum strengthens power business – Tommi Riikonen to lead Portfolio Services

Tommi Riikonen (45), M.Sc. (Econ.), is transitioning to the position from the role of Customer Success Director at the energy company Väre Oy. Riikonen has strong experience in the energy sector and has worked as Business Director at Väre and as Sales Director at Savon Voima Oyj. In addition, Riikonen has worked as Sales Director at TeliaSonera Corporation. At Gasum he will be based in Jyväskylä, Finland.

Gasum's power business service offering covers portfolio management, market analysis, trading execution and multi-market optimization. The solutions help corporate customers operate efficiently and with agility in the changing energy market.

The appointment strengthens Gasum's power business and its solution offering.

Gasum's power business serves more than 200 corporate customers in various industries, such as energy companies, industrial companies and renewable energy producers. Offices are located in Espoo, Jyväskylä and Stockholm.

Gasum Portfolio Services operates under a MiFID permit. It is a licence under the EU's Markets in Financial Instruments Directive, which entitles the holder to provide investment services, such as trading, portfolio management and advice, in EU Member States.
