Changes in Gasum’s Board of Directors
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Gasum Ltd was held in Helsinki on 10 April 2026. The AGM made the following decisions regarding Gasum’s Board of Directors.
Current members Sirpa-Helena Sormunen, Erkka Repo, Elina Kivioja, Jukka Pahta and Petri Vihervuori were re-elected as members of the Board of Directors. Sirpa-Helena Sormunen was re-elected Chair and Erkka Repo was re-elected Vice Chair.
Matti Lehmus and Patrik Rautaheimo were elected as new members of the Board of Directors. With this decision the number of Gasum Board members increases from six to seven.
Matti Lehmus (M.Sc, tech., eMBA) has over 25 years of experience in leading international business and growth in the energy sector. Most recently, he served as CEO of Neste Corporation 2022–2024, and prior to that, held several leadership positions in both oil products and renewable products businesses. Lehmus is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Kemira Plc and has previously served, among others, on the boards of the Chemical Industry Federation of Finland and the Confederation of Finnish Industries.
Patrik Rautaheimo (D.Sc, tech.) has extensive and long-standing experience particularly with demanding investment projects within the maritime industry. He has played a key role in the design of the world’s largest cruise ships and continues to be actively involved in developing CO₂-free and low-emission ship solutions. Rautaheimo serves as Chairman of the Board at the design and consulting company Elomatic and is also a Board Member of Meri Aura Ltd, Napa Ltd, and Cadmatic Ltd.
