Gasum takes on the Olympic Committee’s challenge – aiming for a donation to Save the Children Finland
Gasum promotes physical activity and wellbeing among children and young people through a long‑standing partnership with the Finnish Olympic Committee. A key element of the collaboration is the Star Club (Tähtiseura) programme, through which Gasum supports sports clubs with 15 annual support awards. One of these is the €5,000 Star Club of the Year award, presented to a club promoting high‑quality and inclusive youth sports.
This spring, the Finnish Olympic Committee challenged Gasum to launch a company‑wide Activity Challenge aimed at encouraging everyday movement, wellbeing and a strong sense of community across teams and locations.
During the challenge, Gasum employees engaged in a wide variety of activities — from everyday movement to sports and small wellbeing‑supporting actions. The initiative sparked encouragement, participation and positive energy throughout the organisation.
After reaching the challenge target, Gasum made a €5,000 donation to Save the Children Finland. The donation is allocated to humanitarian aid, supporting children and families affected by crises. The donation reflects Gasum’s values of Respect and Sustainability and its commitment to responsible societal impact.
