Gasum 2023 annual reports published

Gasum Group’s annual reports on year 2023 are now available online on Gasum’s website. The available reports include:

• Gasum Group annual review 1 January–31 December 2023
• Sustainability report 2023
• Governance and remuneration report 2023

The sustainability report includes a review on Gasum’s green funding impact for 2023.

Key figures from Gasum’s 2023 financial review:

• The Group’s revenue decreased by 44.0 percent to EUR 1,456.9 (EUR 2,601.8) million due to lower gas market prices.
• Operating profit (EBIT) was EUR 45.1 (EUR 149.9) million. Adjusted operating profit (EBIT) was EUR -3.8 (EUR 37.1) million
• Balance sheet total came to EUR 1,637.9 (EUR 1,947.3) million
• Equity ratio was 35.6 (28.3) percent
• Sales volumes decreased by 20 percent compared to 2022 mainly due to lower pipeline natural gas volumes and were 12.5 (15.6) TWh.

Key figures from Gasum’s 2023 sustainability report:

• 1.7 TWh of biogas delivered
• 565,000 tons of CO2eq emission savings enabled with biogas – up by 27% from 2022
• Almost 1,000,000 tons of different types of waste managed through biogas production
• 25% of total volumes of energy sold were renewable (biogas and power) – up from 21% in 2022
• 3 TWh worth of renewable electricity Guarantees of Origin traded
